NITE WHITE BLEACHING SYSTEM

WHAT IS IT? A safe and effective way for most people to lighten their teeth noticeably.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Molds of your mouth are made at our office. From these we fabricate very small comfortable custom-fitted trays

for your upper and lower teeth. Each night these trays are loaded with a special bleaching gel and worn to bed. The teeth whiten as you sleep. The change is gradual and results vary for each individual. If new stains occur in the future a 1-2 night touch-up can be done.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? Optimal results usually take 2 weeks.

WHO CAN DO THIS? Almost anyone with their own teeth. Bleaching is especially

effective on teeth which are naturally somewhat yellow or brown or discoloration resulting from age, smoking, or other staining habits. Since no studies are available, it is not recommended for women who are pregnant or lactating. It is also ineffective on denture teeth, crowns or white fillings. Tetracycline-stained teeth usually lighten less than most other teeth.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? $295.00 full mouth bleaching

HOW DOES IT DIFFER FROM STORE OR TV BRANDS? The major difference is that these systems are unable to make a mold of your mouth for fabricating proper bleaching trays. To compensate for this they must use either ill fitting mouth guards as trays or no trays at all. This means their product can't be carefully kept in contact with the teeth for extended periods of time. Mouth guard systems get limited results because they must use weak bleaching materials (because their sloppy fit means the gums as well as the teeth will be bathed in bleach. No tray systems, on the other hand, allow for only a few minutes of bleaching at a time. They sometimes attempt to get better results by using dangerously concentrated bleach (which may lighten teeth but leave pits in their surfaces and promote decay)!
